How to request or modify sample requests and view sample history

How to request samples

Requesting samples is simple and reliable.

Step 1: Add Samples to Cart

  • When samples are available, a Request Sample button will appear in the search results and on the product detail page.
  • Click this button to add the sample to your sample cart, which is located at the top right of your screen.

Note: You can add samples from different suppliers to your cart.

Step 2: Add Sample Details

  • Click on the Samples cart.
  • Enter Sample Detail in the form
    • Sample size
      • You can request samples in the supplier's standard size or a larger volume. Most standard samples are free, but this may vary by product. Suppliers will contact you before shipping if they need more information or if costs are involved.
    • How you will use the product
    • Any questions or comments you want to send the supplier

Note: If you don’t click the link to submit your items, your samples will stay in the cart, and the suppliers will not receive your request.

Special Notes:

  • To search your Sample History by product or supplier name, use your internet browser's Edit & Find feature.

  • You can also update these personal notes in the Sample History, such as noting when a sample has been delivered or sharing test results.
